All thanks to our Mighty God and thanks to your generous financial donations, we officially bought the cinema on May 30th, 2023!
After signing the contract, we immediately started preparations for the full renovation. In parallel with the work on the project documentations and revisions of the building, we cleared out several waste containers full of garbage, dismantled the seats in the large auditorium, and began preparing the interior spaces for future reconstruction. Another step we made was renovating the front façade of the building, which was in disrepair. We also secured the rear, open entrance to the garden of the building with a new gate.
In October, the first missions work team, made of young people from the Denmark, came to help. We have been very blessed by their hard work not only in the cinema, but also by serving our young people in the church.
For this purpose we plan to renovate the first floor of the building to provide a temporary auditorium for 130-150 people, a children’s ministry area, sanitary facilities, and offices. This phase of the renovation will include a main staircase, and on the ground floor a temporary café for the church, and two meeting rooms where small groups to meet.
THE BUDGET FOR 2024 IS:
$854,000
